D4 Traffic Operations and Safety Studies Contract
A&P Engineers consults for the District IV Traffic Operations Office on a Traffic Operations and Safety Studies contract. We provide in-house support to the department in addition to other assigned tasks. The contract tasks cover various traffic operations and safety studies including:

Permit reviews for special events

Signal retiming for safety

Structural analysis of traffic structures

Lighting studies

Fatal crash reviews

Road Safety Audits (RSAs)

Crash analysis
-
No-passing zone studies

Sight distance studies

Updating the FDOT Skid Hazard Reporting System and the Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
The studies conducted under this contract must adhere to the District IV Safety Study Process Flowchart, and entail presentation of findings and recommendations along with conceptual drawings to the Safety Review Committee (SRC).
